At Khmer Ocean Life, our mission is to conserve Cambodia’s marine mammals through research, conservation actioncapacity building, outreach, and community collaboration
All of the work of Khmer Ocean Life is conducted in close collaboration with the Fisheries Administration of the Royal Government of Cambodia. 
Khmer Ocean Life are a non-profit organisation, registered in the UK, and partnered with Samaky Organization, a local NGO in Kampot, Cambodia. Read more on The Team page.

Where do we work?

KOL’s office is in Kampot, Cambodia,

and conducts its activities in Cambodia’s four coastal provinces (Kep, Kampot, Sihanoukville and Koh Kong). 

​

Within these provinces, we work closely with 35 fishing communities to ensure the protection of marine megafauna in Cambodian waters.
